One of our goals at Stated Clearly is to raise public understanding of how evolution works. Evolution is a simple theory but is often misunderstood, even by our best and brightest. Why? One big reason is that the theory has proven to be consistently controversial for members of various religious groups. Statistics reveal that many science teachers are responding by simply shying away from using the “e word”.
